About Us
At Bilingua Speech Therapy, we provide bilingual speech therapy for young children and families across Chula Vista, National City, San Diego, and San Ysidro.
Founded by a former bilingual classroom teacher with over 12 years of experience in inclusive education, our practice is deeply rooted in supporting children of all abilities—including those with autism, Down syndrome, ADHD, and Gestalt language processing. In addition to her classroom background, our founder has spent the past five years providing speech therapy services in school settings, working with students from preschool through eighth grade. Her direct involvement in IEP teams has also equipped her to support families seeking advocacy and guidance within the special education system.
Now focused on early intervention and pediatric care, she brings a well-rounded, bilingual perspective that bridges both education and speech therapy. With a strong commitment to cultural respect and communication access, we partner with families to build early, meaningful connections in both English and Spanish.

Bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist & Educator
Dinah Marrujo is a San Diego native who grew up between Mexico and the United States, fostering a deep appreciation for bilingualism and biculturalism from an early age. As a fully bilingual English-Spanish speaker, she brings cultural insight and linguistic expertise to her work with children and families.
Dinah began her professional journey in education after earning her bachelor’s degree from San Diego State University. She spent over 15 years as a bilingual elementary school educator, creating inclusive and supportive classrooms for diverse learners. She later earned a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Point Loma Nazarene University, followed by a second Master of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College.
With nearly 20 years of experience in education and speech-language pathology, Dinah has supported children from preschool through eighth grade in bilingual and special education school settings, participating in IEP teams and delivering individualized therapy services. Her approach integrates evidence-based practices with cultural responsiveness, always centered on the needs of the child and family.
Dinah is the founder of Bilingua Speech Therapy Group, a practice dedicated to serving pediatric populations in their homes with a focus on bilingual, bicultural, and family-centered care. Her mission is to empower families and help every child find their voice.
“When we honor a child’s language, culture, and abilities, we create space for them to be heard, to belong, and to thrive.”
— Dinah Marrujo, Founder of Bilingua Speech Therapy Group
